Founder, President
Christina Jones, MBA, SSC, provides inroads and coaching that develops resilient and resourceful business solutions that achieve results. Christina has worked and consulted in the business community for over 20 years and has received great accolades for her outstanding results.
Christina is a native of Florida and holds an Associates in Arts degree in Accounting from Florida State College at Jacksonville, a Bachelor of Science in Management from University of Phoenix, and a Master of Business Administration (emphasis: Management and Leadership) from Webster University.
As a dynamic leader, Christina is successful at moving business and people forward by creating and executing a solid plan of action and creating solutions to improve workflows, budgets, logistics, and negotiations. Christina enjoys outdoor activities, which includes running and fitness activities. She is a mother and an active participant in her community and church.
Cecile Latimore
Director, Professional Development
Cecile Latimore is a passionate, development-focused strategist and entrepreneur with over 15 years of leadership, project management, and human resource management experience. She created 4 Focus Development Services LLC, an organization that inspires intentional focus on development and prioritization of purpose. Cecile currently manages the customer experience program, call center, and organizational projects for a large insurance company. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, 2-20 Property & Casualty Insurance license, Lean Six Sigma certification and is designated as a Certified Implementation Leader.
Her experience extends beyond insurance and banking, and into the elderly care community by way of residential assisted living facility ownership, consultation, and administration. She serves as the Director of Professional Development on the Board of Directors for MasterMind Assemblage. Cecile recognizes the importance of giving back to communities and demonstrates this through volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House, Daniel Kids, Clara White Mission, and Duval County Public Schools. She is most passionate when singing and helping others; although she is best at the latter.
Terri Sherman
Director-Communications and Marketing
Terri Sherman, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, has a B.A. in English with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of North Florida. her background is in the music industry, where she spent several years working alongside many notable organizations and individuals providing her services and expertise in event planning and consulting before transitioning into business brokerage. She has b been with Florida Business Exchange, Inc. since July 2011 as a Business Intermediary operating under Terri D. Sherman, PA. She is a member of the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF).
As a Business Intermediary, she specializes primarily in the sales of Main Street businesses and middle market sales. She has sold a number of businesses across the state of Florida, and has assisted numerous buyers both stateside and international. Some of the businesses include restaurants, medical-related businesses, fitness gyms, and amusement centers among others. Terri has been the recipient of the BBF "Million Dollar Plus" Award, and she was voted Folio Weekly's "Best Business Broker" in the publication's annual
Best of Jax" awards. She prides herself on helping both current and aspiring business owners remember the need to "mind (their) business today"!
Sha-Kerra Powell
Director, Finance
Sha-Kerra Powell is currently a Financial Planning Manager at Black Knight Inc. in Jacksonville, FL where she oversees a $420M budget for the Servicing Technology division of the company. With over 17 years of experience within corporate accounting and finance Sha-Kerra has held numerous roles to include financial planning, forecast modeling, process improvement within financial controls, and financial statement analysis. Prior to her role at Black Knight, Sha-Kerra was VP of Financial Planning at Citi in the Branded Cards division, overseeing corporate finance accounts for Home Depot and Walmart.
After doing freelance accounting work for business owners over the years she noticed how inadequate and inconsistent many entrepreneurs were with book keeping and finances in general. Most who tried to handle their own finances had no clue what they were doing and many who hired a tax professional, just got tax help, during filing season. They did not have a good financial system and they weren’t taking advantage of many of the tax opportunities available to them. After many years of seeing bad book keeping and giving advice on what to do about saving money on taxes she partnered with two other associates and has helped to build Linden & Lenox.
Linden & Lenox is a firm of financial experts who specialize in helping small businesses develop a financial strategy. Sha-Kerra holds the title of VP of Business Development at Linden & Lenox where her primary role is to educate small business owners on the importance of having a solid strategy linked to adequate financial statements for their business. Linden & Lenox serves clients in various industries, from insurance agents, jewelry store owners, dry cleaners, lawn care professionals, and physicians.
Sha-Kerra’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in International Finance & Economics from Clark Atlanta University and a MBA in Accounting & Finance from Jacksonville University.
In addition to being a corporate finance expert, Sha-Kerra is a loving wife and mom and is also an active member in her church.
